Hey everyone!

I am starting my third week of classes at CGA. So I wanted to give you an update on what I am learning and what the Lord is doing in me right now.

But first I know some of you still don’t really know what CGA is….that is okay! It still is kind of hard to explain. We have classes Monday through Friday every week. Each day we learn about different topics and have different guest speakers. The layout of what we will be learning throughout the next four months is…

– KNOW YOURSELF

– LEAD YOURSELF

– LEAD OTHERS

Right now we are in the ” Know yourself” phase of class. We have been diving deep into who we are and our identity in Christ. It has been super challenging. They ask you to dig down deep and face things that everyone tries to avoid. Things such as fear, failure, pain, grief, and shame. But as we are going through this process of “knowing ourselves” I can feel the Lord shaping me and molding me. Each day in class, the Lord chisels layers off and molds me into who he has created me to be. So why is it important to know ourselves in order to lead? You can’t give away what you don’t have. It is as simple as that. I can’t help lead people through the process of forgiveness if I am not willing to sit down and go through that same process with the Lord first. Or I can’t help people believe they can overcome fear while I currently being controlled by fear itself.

The Lord has shown me SO much about myself the past two weeks of class. Like I said, it is HARD. CGA is not a walk in the park. It challenges every part of you and puts you out of your comfort zone every day. But it means that this program isn’t just ” five months”. It is transforming me and making a impact that will leave its mark on me for years to come.

So thank you to everyone who has donated and supported me on my journey so far. My next deadline is October 1st and I will need to have raised the next $2,000  of my goal. Please consider partnering with me and joining my team. You can even donate online through this website. Just go to the top and click the donate button. I love you guys so much and I am so grateful for the amazing community the Lord has blessed me with!
